THINGS TO KNOW
TERMS OF RESERVATION, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
We take full payment for accommodation on booking.
Reservations are considered valid after the receipt of a payment of the amount of the stay.
To this effect Quinta das Eirinhas accepts payment on its reservation page through
credit cards of Visa, Euro / Mastercard, Maestro.
After reception of the payment Quinta das Eirinhas sends a confirmation and an invoice / receipt to the email address of the guest.
Should you wish to make an amendment or postpone your stay, please do so until 30 days prior to arrival so that a full credit can be moved to a new date.
The credit will be applied in full to new dates and rates, valid for 12 months from the date of the booking.
No refund will take place in case of cancellation within 30 days before arrival or in case of
no-show.
Quinta das Eirinhas therefore strongly recommends a comprehensive travel insurance.
GUARANTEE POLICY
We take full prepayment for the accommodation element of all stays.
BOOKING CHANGES
Rates are subject to change and we reserve the right to change your accommodation should we need to, with assurances that you will not be moved to an apartment that is below the standard of your booking.
CHECK-IN & DEPARTURE
Your apartment will be available from 5pm and we ask that you vacate by 11am on the day of departure.
If you wish to arrive early or stay late we may be able to arrange this at an extra charge.
We are, of course, more than happy to look after your luggage if you wish to extend your day of arrival or departure.

The check-in and check-out schedule aims to allow more time for the deep cleaning of the apartments and communal areas.
The administrative process of check-in is carried out online prior to arrival.

BALANCE OF THE STAY
The balance of the stay will be settled by the guest upon departure from Quinta das Eirinhas.
To this effect Quinta das Eirinhas sends an invoice to the email address of the guest.
The terminal for automatic payment of Quinta das Eirinhas accepts payment through debit / credit cards of Visa, Euro / Mastercard, Maestro.
The payment terminal is ready for contactless payment as well as for Apple Pay, however both without pin up to a maximum of 50€.
Quinta das Eirinhas does not accept cash payment.
After reception of the payment Quinta das Eirinhas sends a receipt to the email address of the guest.
MINIMUM DURATION OF A STAY
The minimum duration of a stay is seven nights.
OCCUPATION OF AN APARTMENT
The maximum occupation of an apartment is two adults.
The use of an apartment, communal areas and the grounds is reserved to the guests of Quinta das Eirinhas.
The under letting of the apartment is not permitted.
CHILDREN
Quinta das Eirinhas is not suitable for children.
Throughout Quinta das Eirinhas, we have created a peaceful grown-up environment.
DOGS AND PETS
Quinta das Eirinhas is not suitable for dogs and pets.
WELCOME BASKET
Upon arrival all guests will find a welcome-basket with some foodstuffs and drinks to accompany the start of a stay.
IN ROOM PRODUCTS
Bathroom products in your apartment include Nuxe Face & Body Wash and Hair & Body Wash in eco-pump-dispensers, reducing your personal carbon footprint by eliminating packaging and excess water.
YOUR SPECIAL THINGS
We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss of damage to personal items during your visit.
We therefore recommend that valuables are not left unattended or are stored in the safe deposit box in your apartment.
GRAVEL DRIVES
Please be aware that there are gravel drives and pathways throughout the property, some of which is in hilly terrain.
This may affect persons with impaired mobility and guests in high heels.
PARKING
Free parking is available upon the property.
We are pleased to offer electric car charging to guests of Quinta das Eirinhas.
TAXIS
Due to our rural location, taxi services are limited.
We do advise booking in advance for all taxi journeys throughout your stay.
RURAL LIFE
Quinta das Eirinhas is in a quiet rural setting and we would ask our guests to be respectful of other guests, especially between 22.00 at night and 08.00 in the morning.
WI-FI
Free wi-fi is available throughout the property.
MOBILE PHONE COVERAGE
Although the Serra do Caldeirão is a rural location, the coverage is reliable.
We hope that the peaceful environment of Quinta das Eirinhas will encourage you to turn your phone off.
SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited in all internal and exterior parts of Quinta das Eirinhas.
As a result of very strict municipal as well as national measures with regard to fire hazard, all interior and exterior spaces of both the individual apartments as well as the communal
facilities are non-smoking areas.
However, we do offer designated smoking spots in open-air areas.
Guests who do not wish to comply with this regulation will be kindly requested to shorten their stay.
If you are found to have been smoking in your apartment a 150€ charge will be added to your account due to the extra costs of deep cleaning with an ozon generator as well as eventual damages.
BARBECUE
Barbecue is not permitted.
At Quinta das Eirinhas, we are committed to sustainable practice and the protection of nature.
Barbecues can have devastating effects on the countryside and wildlife, including causing fires.
We thank you for helping us to protect the landscape and nature that surrounds us.
DECORATIONS
We kindly ask that guests do not bring lanterns, balloons, or other single use plastic or paper decorations to Quinta das Eirinhas.
Balloons and lanterns have devastating effects on the countryside and wildlife, including causing fires, littering and, when mistaken for food, inflicting serious harm on animals.
It is forbidden to light candles/incense in all internal and exterior parts of Quinta das Eirinhas
due to the fire alarm and fire hazard.
The security system will be activated immediately.
DAMAGES
In the event of any damage or loss to the contents of your room, including stains to any of the soft furnishings, we reserve the right to charge the credit or debit card used to book your reservation with either the full cost of repairing/cleaning such item(s) or, if this is not possible, the replacement cost with new.
It is forbidden to take hotel property outside the building.
In case of deliberate damage to property of the hotel, one can be held liable for repair and/or renewal costs.
LIABILITY
The owner, staff and/or persons working for the hotel cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage that visitors to the location may experience.
HOUSERULES
All instructions from hotel employees related to the house rules must be followed.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
In the event of an emergency, all instructions from the hotel staff must be followed.
IN CASE OF FIRE
In case of fire, keep calm.
Report a fire immediately to the reception and/or hit the nearest manual call point.
Leave the building immediately in the event of a general fire alarm.
In the event of a fire, do not use elevators under any circumstances.
