Quinta das Eirinhas adheres to the guidelines of the national Clean & Safe program in order to ensure the health and safety of its guests and employees.
In this chapter is presented a summary of measures implemented to achieve a safe environment and comfort for all.

ACCESS
Quinta das Eirinhas is accessible to guests with confirmed bookings, staff members or pre-authorised partners.
Quinta das Eirinhas has ample common and outdoor areas.
Entrance to the apartments is via the exterior gallery.

RECEPTION
Check-in: from 16.00 hours until 21.00 hours
Check-out: until 11.00 hours
The check-in and check-out schedule aims to allow more time for the deep cleaning of the apartments and communal areas.
The administrative process of check-in is carried out online prior to arrival.

The reception desk allows a maximum presence of two guests at a time.

The balance of the stay will be settled by the guest upon departure from Quinta das Eirinhas.
To this effect Quinta das Eirinhas sends an invoice to the email address of the guest.
The payment terminal of Quinta das Eirinhas accepts payment by debit- / creditcard of Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Maestro.
The payment terminal is ready for contactless payment as well as for Apple Pay, however both without pin up to a maximum of 50€.
Quinta das Eirinhas does not accept cash payment.
After reception of the payment Quinta das Eirinhas sends a receipt to the email address of the guest.

The staff works in accordance with professional instructions.
Staff members regularly wash their hands with antiseptic cleansing gel and use hand sanitizer.
Quinta das Eirinhas asks guests to regularly use hand sanitizer which is available at several points across the common areas, as well as in the apartments.

APARTMENTS
Quinta das Eirinhas provides shampoo and soap dispensers rather than single use guest bathroom amenities.
The amenity kit includes antiseptic cleansing gel and hand sanitizer.

The apartments are free of any non-essential items such as information booklets, magazines and unnecessary decorative elements.
Manuals for the electric household appliances are available in paper format in the apartments and are also accessible in digital format via the internet.
A code for free, personalized access to high velocity/broad band internet is provided at check-in and is also included in the information available in the apartments.

LOUNGE
The lounge area has large covered terraces, with good weather conditions allowing to enjoy alfresco meals, snacks and drinks.
Tables and chairs are sanitized after each service/table occupation.

STAFF
The staff works in accordance with professional instructions.
Temperature checks are taken daily before starting work.
Staff members regularly wash their hands with antiseptic cleansing gel and use hand sanitizer.
Personal protective equipment is used where appropriate.

SANITIZATION
Quinta das Eirinhas implements a regular deep cleaning of the property.
Cleaning and hygiene protocols include the use of high-grade cleaning and disinfectant products.
Common areas and contact surfaces are cleaned and disinfected several times a day.
The housekeeping team delivers a complete cleaning program before each changeover of an apartment.
After each thorough cleaning program the apartments and common areas are sanitized with a ozone generator.
A ozone generator is a proven tool for integral disinfection.
Between cleaning and apartment changeover the apartment is naturally ventilated.
Towels and bedlinen are washed at temperatures in excess of sixty degrees Celsius.

KITCHEN
Quinta das Eirinhas implements a meticulous food safety protocol.
Food handlers wear personal protective equipment where appropriate.
A ‘no touch’ delivery standard applies to all suppliers.
Quinta das Eirinhas uses batched ingredients to limit the handling of products where possible.

SUPPLIERS
Communication with key suppliers and partners is crucial, to ensure that their policies and systems relating to health and hygiene meet the standards of Quinta das Eirinhas.
